A very Hard working single mom life

She built it herself, piece by piece, because waiting wasn’t an option. The house Tucked under tall green bamboo, the little home stands on sturdy posts with a woven bamboo wall that lets the breeze through. The roof is layered with dried leaves and split bamboo, sloped just enough to shed the rain. It’s small, maybe one room, but she made every corner count. A low bamboo platform for sleeping, a shelf lashed to the wall for dishes, and a doorway with a cloth curtain instead of a heavy door. Outside, a few bamboo poles dry in the sun and a small garden of herbs grows in reclaimed buckets.
