This famous theme is quite simple, based on a C major seven chord that is arpeggiated in the right hand. This is harmonised by a bass line that moves between three main notes: C, E, and B. Since the theme is so short, I added in a melody that I thought was suitable to make it a bit more substantial while still trying to keep the atmosphere of the original theme.
