Los sanitarios fallecidos, protagonistas del homenaje de Estado

"We cannot allow ourselves to forget and we must learn from what we have experienced." With these words, the King focused his message on Thursday at the state tribute to the victims of the pandemic. Behind the figures and milestones of the health crisis are the names of thousands of deaths, millions of infected, and vaccine pioneers. Tribute was paid to all of them this Monday at an event presided over by the King and Queen and attended by the Government. With restrained emotion, the sacrifice of healthcare workers who fell victim to COVID was acknowledged, as well as the courage of the elderly, the first to fall to the contagion and also the first to be vaccinated.
