PM Brian Donaldson Recital - Balmoral School Salina KS 2013

Hi All, I wanted to share a recording of one of my heros in piping. This was during my first ever bagpipe workshop at the Balmoral Summer School in 2013. Brian was an instructor there and this clip is from the finale recital at the end of our week there as students. This was the first time I ever heard his playing and his bagpipe, and I’m still as enamored today as I was being a 14 old boy in the audience. This night was the night I knew I wanted to have Brian make my bagpipes. I hope you enjoy the music and the sound of a living legend. Brian is a very dear friend as well as a timeless inspiration to me. I’m hopeful that others will look to his playing and his ability as I have throughout my playing career.
