Helping hatch a shrink wrapped chick

Warning: small amount of blood in video. I opened the incubator this morning, thinking hatching was finished, to take out the chicks and get them in the brooder. I left the incubator on the unhatched eggs, just in case. I checked on them later to see if any were viable, and heard chirping from one. Because I had opened the incubator twice today, and this one had pipped a little (opened a small hole in the shell), the membrane inside the egg has dried up and essentially shrink wrapped the chick in place, so it can’t hatch itself. Here is how I helped it hatch, using a warm wet towel and a toothpick.
