15th Festival of National Cultures in Grodno 2026

Hi everyone! 👋 There’s some exciting action happening in Grodno this weekend, right at the start of summer. It’s one of my absolute favorite events: The Festival of National Cultures! 🌍 It’s a massive and colorful celebration that takes place in Grodno every two years. It brings together representatives of dozens of nationalities living in Belarus to showcase their traditions, crafts, dances, and, most importantly, their national cuisines. 🍲💃 I couldn't miss the opportunity to take a walk with my camera and capture how it all unfolds. At the beginning of the video, you’ll see some behind-the-scenes footage of the festival: setting up stages for performers, arranging equipment, preparing vendor stalls, and other festival elements. The city streets are still quiet, but there’s already a sense of purposeful hustle and bustle. 🎥✨ Later, I filmed Friday evening, the first day of the festival, right before the grand opening. We catch the very beginning of the Parade of National Cultures. Oh, how I love this procession! 🎉 You can immediately see just how many diverse diasporas call Belarus home right now! 💡 Feel free to turn on the subtitles (CC)! I’ve translated the signs and added some extra commentary there. Enjoy watching! 🍿
