The Fritz Hansen Headquarters Rebuilt to Unite its Collaborators
The history of Fritz Hansen Headquarters is singular, and although the brand was founded in Copenhagen, the Headquarters has been located in Allerød for over 100 years, closer to nature and the forest! Its rebuilding symbolizes the catalyzation for the community that sprang up around the facility. Also, the space served as a workshop where some of the most renowned Danish designers developed their bespoke pieces. We were in loco at Fritz Hansen Headquarters on the 24th of October 2022, exactly 150 years since young and visionary cabinetmaker, Fritz Hansen, gets his trade license. There, we talked with the CEO Josef Kaiser, and the Head of Design, Marie-Louise Høstbo, who shared interesting information about all the work they have been doing.
