The Suzuki GSX-S1000 is one of the most underrated bikes in the current naked racing scene. The Hamamatsu company has never tried to impress its customers with special effects based on science fiction electronics packages or futuristic technical equipment. On the contrary, the GSX-S1000 could be defined as a perfect example of an old-school Japanese roadster. Basic and unfussy electronics, a supersport aluminum frame, quality components, adjustable suspension and then there it is – the latest incarnation of the legendary, arrogant 4-cylinder 1,000cc derived from the GSX-R K5. The result of this mix? A supernaked in its own way unique nowadays: concrete, “ignorant”, noisy and… very fast! To satisfy the most refined palates, and to give it a bit of tone in the face of the plethora of new opponents, Suzuki for 2025 has re-proposed the GSX-S1000 in the Evo version that our Aigor (https://bit.ly/InstagramAigor) and Mattia have tested on the road for a whole week. The new features? A 5-inch color TFT display, the approved Akrapovic exhaust, the saddle with suede-effect finish, the single-seater cover and the Euro 5+ approval for the engine.
