SLOVENIAN SAUSAGE FESTIVAL- National Cleveland Style Polka Hall of Fame!

The 18th Annual Slovenian Sausage Festival at SNPJ Farm in Kirtland, Ohio outside Cleveland, Ohio is a fun place to celebrate Slovenian heritage with polka music and dancing while judging the best Slovenian Sausage in Cleveland. Along with drinking, games, and accordion jam sessions. The Slovenian Sausage Festival is put on by the National Cleveland-Style Polka Hall of Fame and Museum with a different polka band taking the stage every hour and some Polka Hall of Fame All-Stars like Don Wojtila, Ron Likovic, and Kathy Hlad and some great Cleveland Polka bands like The Fairport Jammers, Patty C and the Guys, and Doodle the Travel Bugs favorite polka band of all time....The Hobos. The Hobos have been together for over 45 years and even appeared on the classic TV show The Gong show. The Hobo band often lets members of our channel sit in and play with them. Discount tickets are available for this event if you purchase ahead of time at the Polka Hall of Fame. When you arrive, each guest is given a ticket to vote for their favorite Slovenian Style Sausage, All the competitors are experts at making old world assuage, bratwursts, and smokies using recipes past down by generations and natural casings. This year competitors are Maple Heights Catering, Miro's Meat Market, Raddell's Sausage Shop and Bill Azman's sausage and meat. And of course dessert provided by Wojtila Bakery's delicious potica, studelj and pastries. There is drinking, polka dancing and fun. The winner of the sausage judging was Bill Azman's Sausage and Meat and before the owner could sit back down, She was called up on stage for also wining The People's Choice Award.
