Day three of our scooter week in Northern Italy. Because of the overcast weather, we headed for the brightest spot with the best views: the Vivione Pass. It's very narrow and moderately steep. We planned to stop at the Rifugio. But alas, it's closed due to roadworks. So we turned around and looked elsewhere. We found something. Good food and good coffee are everywhere in Italy. In the afternoon, we did another loop because the sun was shining. And then another one up to the Croce Domini Pass. It was still closed at the very top, at 1,900 meters, due to an avalanche. But we made it almost to the top. Then, the predicted thunderstorm caught up with us.
