mCDR Lessons from the Field: Ebb Carbon's Project Macoma

Ebb Carbon recently completed the first chapter of Project Macoma, an electrochemical ocean alkalinity enhancement (OAE) research pilot in Port Angeles, Washington. As the first marine carbon dioxide removal (mCDR) pilot to be permitted under the U.S. Clean Water Act, this pilot was designed to test all aspects of OAE deployment, including permitting, community engagement and education, environmental monitoring, and technological development. This webinar will provide an overview of the project and discusses the decision making and stage gating processes used to advance safe and responsible mCDR deployment.
