Aziza Akhmouch is Head of the Cities, Urban Policies and Sustainable Development Division at the OECD Centre for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Regions and Cities. She leads a team of over 30 experts who advise governments on producing new data, analyses, and recommendations across a wide range of urban policy areas to promote smart, inclusive, competitive, and sustainable cities. She also oversees the OECD's urban and metropolitan policy reviews. She holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Geography, specializing in geopolitics, from Paris 8 University (Vincennes), and a postgraduate degree in International Affairs from Paris-Dauphine University.
