Peggy McCreary, a recording engineer who started her career in the 1970s at Sunset Sound, talks about her experience as one of the first female engineers. Despite the challenges, she quickly rose to work as the second engineer for Van Halen and Elton John, as well as the head engineer for Prince during his most productive years. Peggy shares her memories from the early days of her career, as well as insights on what it was like working with Prince, who she considers both the greatest and most difficult artist to work with.
