Today we our at Leeds Bradford Airport and to our surprise we seen on FR24 that the RAF C-130 Hercules was heading towards Leeds Bradford Airport and descending, before we knew it was lined up on approach for RW14, It was a fantastic rare site to get this beauty up close. The C-130 Hercules is the RAF's primary tactical transport aircraft, it has been the backbone of UK operational tactical mobility tasks since it was brought into service in 1999. It is frequently employed to operate into countries or regions where there is a threat to aircraft, it's performance and defensive systems make it the ideal platform for such tasks.
