Dentistry Cribs – North Cardiff Dental & Implants
North Cardiff Dental & Implants becomes the first Welsh practice to appear on Dentistry Cribs this month. This stunning practice includes: – Two surgeries, with a third in development – Facial aesthetics room – Seven clinicians, with four additional staff members – A rough development budget of £1 million. 'Everything is so busy outside that we've tried to bring a little calm and nature into the practice,' Aly Virani, clinical director, says. 'We've included bits of greenery dotted around the waiting areas. 'We've tried to create a rainforest spa feeling. When people come in from having a busy, stressful day, we just want to reset everything. 'Patients do mention that, they just want to sit in the reception room for a few minutes. The noise of the waterfall in the practice is very calming.' The navy and gold colour scheme gives the practice a luxurious feel and tie in well with the huge waterfall feature in one of the waiting rooms. North Cardiff Dental & Implants is fully digitalised as well, including a Planmeca CBCT scanner to help offer dental implants at the practice. Despite this, a selfie wall and pink and green chairs in the surgeries brighten the feel of the practice too. 'We've chosen bright chairs for both surgeries, pink and green,' Dr Virani continues. 'Otherwise we felt everything would feel a little too clinical. We wanted patients to feel like there is a little bit of fun in the practice too.' Coming up next on Dentistry Cribs, in association with DD, we visit Elleven Dental Wellness.
