BYD Seal: Lo llaman el Tesla Model 3 killer... Si lo es?

BYD Seal: A 4.8-meter-long, 100% electric sedan that's here to compete fiercely with one of the world's best-selling and most beloved electric vehicles, the Tesla Model 3… The question is, what's next? Let's find out! The BYD Seal arrives in Mexico in two versions. The one we're looking at today is the top-of-the-line model, which features one motor on each axle, making it all-wheel drive. Both motors deliver 522 hp and 670 Nm of torque, achieving acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds and a range of 520 km on a single charge. Its batteries are Blade brand and have a capacity of 82.56 kWh. Furthermore, the battery can be charged from 30% to 80% in just 26 minutes. The entry-level version features a single rear-mounted motor, making it rear-wheel drive. It delivers 201 hp and 310 Nm of torque, achieving 0-100 km/h acceleration in just over 7 seconds and a range of 460 km on a single charge. Its batteries are also blade batteries with a capacity of 61.44 kWh. Both versions have a top speed of 180 km/h, the same design, and virtually identical equipment and safety features. The BYD Seal is priced at $778,900 MXN, which is approximately $43,000 USD. Thanks to BYD Mexico for allowing me to test this new and fully equipped sedan. And thanks also to Autocinema Coyote for allowing me to film at their facilities, a place where you can watch a movie from the comfort of your car! Very cool!
