12 metrów pod ziemią: tajemnice studni zamku Grodziec i praca konserwatorów zabytków

We return to the Grodziec Castle well to take an even closer look at what it has hidden within its depths for centuries. In this episode, we present the finds recovered from the well in greater detail, demonstrating their diversity, state of preservation, and possible historical significance. For the first time, we also take you behind the scenes of the subsequent fate of the discovered artifacts. We visit the Academy of Fine Arts, where the finds are being cared for by specialists in Jagoda Ciechanowska's Art Conservation Workshop. Together with students of the Sculpture program, preservation and conservation work is being carried out there, ensuring that the objects recovered from the well's humid, extreme environment have a chance to survive for years to come and tell their stories. But that's not all. The episode also shows a complete, uninterrupted record of the descent into the well, all the way to its bottom, and the work carried out in the deepest part of the structure. This is a unique opportunity to see up close the conditions under which the research is conducted and the scale of the challenges facing the exploration team. 📰 Want to stay up to date with new discoveries and support our work?
