You'll never drop that nickname even if I begged you and your precious white angel slave," he said. "Dark Pit, I'm shocked you don't know she's practically bullying you at this point," Chris said. "If you really want her to stop calling you that, you must stop reacting so strongly to it and just ignore her. I'm sure that she'll start calling you by your real name once she realizes that using your nickname to tease won't work after a wh-" Palutena covered his mouth. "Anyways, how do you feel about this victory, Pittoo?" she asked. The dark angel grunted slightly at that nickname again. It was going to be hard for him to ignore it so simply like that. "I feel good, but not so much when that idiot's face is on the high score banner," he said. "Tsk. I need to do better than him or else he'll keep bragging about it to my face till we die." "Oh, silly Pittoo. I'd grant you both eternal life to keep fighting under my sacred name," she said smiling. "Screw that! And I'm not even working for a goddess like you!" Chris pushed Palutena's hand away. "But you work for Viridi now, whom we can all agree is a hell lot worse than Palutena!" Palutena took that as a very nice compliment. "I only work for her to give me a reason to fight Pit as many times as I want with a somewhat passable excuse," Dark Pit said with a grin. "...But I thought that you only live because Pit lives because you're an imperfect copy of him that you're somehow tied to his life due to him interrupting the copy process of the Mirror of Truth and that somehow caused that handicap to be placed on you?" Chris said. "What I mean to say is...if you end up killing Pit by accident, wouldn't that kill you too?" Dark Pit didn't want to acknowledge that little fact he overlooked. "I-I can be soft on him! I can put him on the ropes and...that'd be it!" he stammered. Palutena smirked. "Really?" she asked. The dark angel flinched. "...VIRIDI!" Dark Pit yelled out as he started running away. "THE DEAL'S OFF! I WORK ALONE! KEEP YOUR ANTI-HUMAN ADVANCES AWAY FROM ME!" A sighing Chris turned to Palutena. "Well, at least you indirectly caused him to reconsider his life choices for the better," he said. "Isn't it wonderful how a little teasing can help people out?" Palutena asked with a smile. "Stop trying to make your questionable fun time justified by helping people through teasing! Gosh!" the teen complained, much to her guilty delight. Key Notes: Besides two moves whose effects aren't really that different from his original, Dark Pit is an honest clone of Pit. If you main Pit, you end up maining Dark Pit too...um, as well.
