Three Missions. Two Robots. One Big Mistake. | Species: Unknown

We played three separate missions in Species: Unknown, and every one went a different way. First was a destroy-the-ship mission against the Mutation — chaotic, stressful, but we somehow survived and completed it. Next was a black box retrieval where we met a new large corrupted robot specimen we’ve been calling “The Terminator.” It was tense at first, but we figured out pretty quickly that one person could distract it while the other handled the objective, so we got through it fairly smoothly. Then came the final mission — a simple capture-the-specimen job with a small corrupted robot. We thought we had it immediately… until we realized we had accidentally killed it. We even started celebrating before it went silent and everything clicked. I went quiet, and all Joker could say was, “uh oh… I don’t think we were supposed to do that.”
