AlpenX 2022: Etappe 1 -Von Mayrhofen über das Pfitscher Joch nach St. Jakob

On the initial stage, we start in Mayrhofen, follow the road to Ginzling, and then tackle the climb to the Schlegeis reservoir. At the busy destination, the actual route up to the Pfitscher Joch begins, which we didn't postpone due to the threat of a thunderstorm without our originally planned stop at the lake. The uphill path is mostly well-ridden, but especially before the Lafitzalm, we can only manage by pushing. The surroundings are impressive in any case and leave us delighted to be alone with nature. The people at the Pfitscherjochhaus are very friendly and make first-class pasta! The descent to St. Jakob is rather easy on a forest road, but once again offers fantastic views.
