I Built a Full Bodybuilding Diet for $8.81
Bodybuilding diets can get expensive fast, especially when you’re a 19 year old pro bodybuilder in college with no sponsors. So for this video I wanted to see if I could build a full offseason bodybuilding diet for only $10 a day. I went to Restaurant Depot and Trader Joe’s, bought everything myself, tracked the cost of each meal, broke down the macros, and then trained to see if the food was actually enough to perform. The final day came out to around 2,940 calories, 196g protein, and only $8.81 total. This video is not some perfect fancy meal plan. It’s just showing that if you keep things simple, buy in bulk, and actually track your food, you can eat like a bodybuilder without spending a stupid amount of money.
