Uintas, Soapstone Basin Ride 7/11/26

This was the first time back up to Soapstone Basin since the fire 2 years ago. It was a great ride until we hit some final two track that had awesome views of the interior of the basin. We found down trees from the beginning of the trails so we started to clear the trees. We made it about 3/4 through until the saw ran out of juice. We cleared about thirty trees of various sizes from small to 60ft in length. We turned around and met up with the trail at the end of it were it hits the road and the forest service closed it. We will be contacting them and trying to get it opened back up. There is no reason it should be closed.
