Brazilian TV program "Câmara Entrevista" (Chamber Interview) features regional delegate of Freemasonry and reveals interesting facts about the institution. Who are the Freemasons? These and other questions were addressed on the program "Câmara Entrevista," which featured Antonio Carlos Rego, regional delegate of Freemasonry. Originally from Auriflama, Antonio Carlos arrived in Catanduva in 1975 to work at Banco Itaú. Retired since 2001, he says he fell in love with the city and built his life there alongside his family. Married and father of two daughters—one a physiotherapist and the other a nutritionist—he highlighted during the interview the importance of family values ​​in shaping individuals. In the conversation, the regional delegate explained the structure of Freemasonry, clarified frequently asked questions, and discussed the differences between true, false, and fictitious information circulating about the organization. According to him, the members treat each other as "brothers," while the wives are affectionately called "sisters-in-law." Antonio Carlos also highlighted the social role played by Freemasonry, which, according to him, is strongly involved in philanthropic actions aimed at the well-being of the community. Support in the areas of health and food are among the initiatives carried out by Masonic lodges, often without public disclosure. The objective, he explained, is to contribute to the development of the human being through principles such as ethics, integrity, and irreproachable conduct. The interview also addresses the historical origin of Freemasonry, the internal organization of the institution, and terms such as Grand Master, delegates, secretaries, and other functions that make up its administrative structure. In Catanduva, as Antonio Carlos pointed out, there are seven Masonic lodges, all working with common objectives for the benefit of society.
