Each year, my hometown community hosts a carnival…on the water! With a history of more than 80 years, Canoe Carnival is a unique, one-of-a-kind experience, and it all happens in the suburbs of rural New Jersey (who woulda thought?!) My roommates have always wanted to visit and experience the 80ft floats that parade by on nothing more than canoes. That’s right, no motorized water vehicles allowed! And it’s not a South Jersey visit with a trip to the shore 👙 or a night out in Philly 🥂 Enjoy!
