Celebrating MVR loco No.1 Sir Goss

As part of our 40th Anniversary celebrations what better way than to dedicate a video to MVR loco No.1 Sir Goss. Built by Jim Goss in 1981 the loco ran at Tucktonia Leisure Park before moving to the new Moors Valley Railway in 1986. The loco currently runs at the Swanley New Barn Railway in Kent but will be visiting us for the Visiting Loco Gala on 2nd & 3rd May 2026. We are a narrow gauge steam railway located in Moors Valley Country Park near Ringwood in Hampshire, UK. Our channel features footage of our railway including it's history, behind the scenes, special events and other great content.
