Can You Paddle Upstream From Greens Bridge? | Jefferson, Oregon SUP

Looking for a paddleboard launch near Jefferson, Oregon? In this episode of The Launch Point, I explore the Greens Bridge Primitive Boat Launch on the Santiam River to see what it's really like. My original plan was simple: paddle upstream and explore. It didn't take long to discover that the current was much stronger than I expected, and before long I was walking my paddleboard through shallow water and along the riverbank just to keep going. Although I wasn't able to paddle very far upstream, the trip turned into a fun adventure with beautiful scenery and a chance to experience a part of the river that many people never see. While I enjoyed the challenge, this is a launch I would recommend only for paddlers with some experience and realistic expectations about the river conditions. If you're looking for honest paddleboard launch reviews, beginner-friendly paddling information, and real-world explorations of rivers, lakes, and waterways throughout Oregon and beyond, you're in the right place. 📍 Launch Location: Greens Bridge Primitive Boat Launch Jefferson, Oregon 👍 If you found this video helpful, please like, subscribe, and let me know in the comments where I should launch next. #PaddleBoard #SUP #Oregon #SantiamRiver #WillametteRiver #JeffersonOregon #StandUpPaddle #TheLaunchPoint
