Tacx Neo Smart Trainer: Isokinetic and Isotonic Modes
Tacx Neo Smart Trainer Modes: Isokinetic and Isotonic. Looking into exactly what they are, and what it's like to use them with the Tacx Util Dashboard. My summary would be: Isokinetic = Speed based "ERG" mode. Constant speed regardless of power. Isotonic = Circular force based pedalling mode. Their potential application for training and rehab will be interesting to see.
