Cardamom Millet Porridge--it's way tastier than oatmeal!

A tasty alternative to oatmeal (and millet is gluten-free). Use 2 cups millet to 4 cups water; 1/4 cup real 100% maple syrup; 1/2 cup plant milk (e.g. soy or almond, etc.); 1 teaspoon cardamom seeds (ground); and salt to taste. Millet is best when soaked overnight in water or for at least 1 hour in hot water. Recipe makes 4-5 hearty servings. Cook for about 30-40 minutes.
