Buckle up and ride with Officer Kristy Monroe as she works as shift with our Traffic Enforcement Unit. Our Traffic Enforcement Unit works every day to make sure our roads are safe. That includes responding to crashes and monitoring drivers for dangerous habits. Please remember to slow down, keep your eyes on the road, and be courteous to everyone sharing the road (other drivers, motorcyclists, and pedestrians). Sadly, we’ve already lost 34 people in traffic fatalities in Jacksonville this year. That includes 11 people in car crashes, 9 pedestrians, 7 motorcyclists and 7 others in other roadway crashes. Even one life lost is one too many, and we don’t want to lose more people. Drive safe, Duval.
