Hatch Embroidery Digitizer 2: Learn to digitize step by step (Part 1)
#omlembroidery #machineembroidery #embroidery #hatchembroidery2 #hatchembroiderysoftware #hatchdigitizer #embroiderysoftware #digitizing This video was requested in the OML Embroidery University Facebook group, and I decided to be super creative and use my Hatch Embroidery software to the fullest! There is always more than one way to digitize any design, and I am going to show you 3 ways in this video. This step by step tutorial is fantastic for beginner digitizers just starting out in embroidery and want to learn embroidery digitizing basics in Hatch Embroidery. Embroidery software tools used: Freehand tool running stitch satin stitches branching auto digitizing click to digitize open path closed path cropping images sizing images Any embroidery software will have access to the majority of these tools, so you don't have to have Hatch Embroidery 2 to be able to complete this project. In PEDesign 11, you can find the running stitch and satin stitches and of course auto digitizing too. Have a look at your software and find these basic tools. Even if you don't have the branching tool, you can still digitize this design with few jump stitches. The first method of embroidary digitizing that we explore in this video is auto digitizing. Of course, this is not possible with the image that we have, so I spend some time cleaning up the image for auto digitizing. Once that is done, it is a matter of pointing and clicking and the results are not too bad. Make sure you remove the abundant resulting underlay and remove the pull compensation too - that will allow the detail work to show through and be more noticeable. The second way I show is using the freehand tool. This is a fun tool especially if you have a tablet and pen to use. In this video, I am using my mouse only, and it works out perfectly. It is like drawing with running stitches!! It's easy to keep the stitches smooth and looking great. Embroidery Art at it's best, I say! Don decided to do this design completely different - and I show you the video of him digitizing this image in Wilcom's embroidery software called E4 and every step he takes. The end result is amazing - you will love how this embroidery design looks! MACHINE EMBROIDERY EDUCATION. FOR EVERYONE. LEARN. STITCH. SMILE.
