BEFORE STARTING YOUR OWN BUILD Make sure your bike has right kind of bottom bracket before you go any further. Here’s a handy guide: https://www.empoweredcycles.com/blogs... Apart from ensuring that you have the right type of bottom bracket, the only other challenges of the build were actually removing the old crank from the bike - so make sure you have the correct tools as linked above. And lastly, cable management - Annoyingly pretty much all of the cables that come from the motor are way too long for most bikes (admittedly my bike isn’t that big, probably a medium) but even with an XL frame - the cables would still be way too long so be prepared to get creative trying to tuck them out of the way - hopefully you’ll do a better job than me!
