Mrs. Saroj Khan is one of the pioneers of the dance choreography in India. It was her struggle and determination that led her to be one of the most respected and famous dance choreographer in India. Her journey is an inspiration for many aspiring dancers. She shares how she used her talent and widely acclaimed work, to fight for the rights of lesser known artists to revolutionize the industry for them. From being a background dancer, to having choreographed over 2000 songs, Nirmala Nagpal, popularly known as Saroj Khan is one of the most prominent Indian dance choreographers in Hindi Cinema with a career span of over forty years. Having started her career at an early age of three as a child artist with the film Nazrana and as a background dancer in the late 1950s. Later, shifting to choreography she had to wait many years to receive acclaim which came with her work with Sri Devi and later with Madhuri Dixit after which she went on to become one of the most successful & legendary Bollywood Choreographers.
