Indian-Origin Teen Shoots Parents, Grandmother Dead in Texas, Caught After Car Chase

A 19-year-old Indian-origin student, Gaurav Chopra, allegedly shot and killed his father, mother, and grandmother at their Texas home before fleeing the scene. His brother survived the attack and called 911. Police arrived to find two victims dead, while the father later died in hospital. A high-speed chase followed, injuring two people in another vehicle, before Chopra was arrested. A handgun was recovered from his car. Chopra, a University of Texas Rio Grande Valley student, has been charged with capital murder and attempted murder, with no bond granted.
