Every frontiersman of the 18th-century needed a dependable shooting bag. More than just a place to carry ammunition, a shot pouch (as they were likely most frequently called during the time period) served as a flintlock's portable workshop. In this video, we're building a historically inspired frontier shot pouch from start to finish, then taking a look at some of the tools and basic supplies that kept longhunters, explorers, hunters, militiamen, and settlers operating their smokepoles far from a possible resupply.
