Incredible Views in Ålesund, Norway | NCL Prima Iceland & Norway Cruise!

Today is day 6 of this 10-day solo Iceland and Norway cruise on the beautiful Norwegian Prima, and I decided to skip the Trollstigen shore excursion I originally booked through Viator (link below if you're interested in checking that out!) to instead hike up to the Byrampen Viewpoint (Aksla Mountain) and walk around the picturesque town of Alesund, often voted the most beautiful town in Norway! I had an absolutely lovely time hiking up to the viewpoint with AMAZING panoramic city views of Alesund. I then explored the town by foot, taking in all of the impressive architecture - facades all built in the style of art nouveau after the city burned down in 1904. I spent some time people-watching at a brew pub right by the port and enjoyed a local beer & a snack before heading back to the ship to relax and enjoy the scenery for the afternoon, followed by a delicious dinner at Hasuki restaurant and an incredible late-night sunset after the infamous NCL Glow Party in the Prima theater!
