Painting Comic Pages - with Luke Welch

This is the process I am using to create my painted graphic novel "The Pod". Which is a science fiction story where one man is sent into the cosmos to commune with the gods to find an answer to his planets' dying sun. In this video I show and explain how I am painting acrylic over my inked pages, using an underpainting, light washes, pencil crayons and splatter techniques to create texture and variety in the final painting. From inked page with a light color wash to final condensed to under 7 minutes.
