In today's video, we will show you our new TROBOLO WandaGO composting toilet. You will also see how we made a new bench seat including a few improvements such as a pull-out toilet drawer. We have also increased the storage space in which we will now be able to carry a 2.65 meter long surfboard! For a long time we were looking for a composting toilet that would meet our 'demanding' requirements: simple, cheap and above all easy to maintain and use. After two months of testing the TROBOLO WandaGO, we can happily recommend this composting separation toilet. ➕ What else we like that was not completely heard in the video: Even if we leave the toilet full for several weeks, there is no unpleasant smell. The urine container is ingenious - a simple canister with a well-thought-out cap, thanks to which nothing spills out even during a bumpy ride. Poops covered with coconut clay dry out and do not smell in any way. When you open the toilet, you can smell the earthy, natural smell of clay (sawdust is often used instead of clay). For me, a much more pleasant experience compared to the fumes from a chemical toilet. ➖But in order not to just praise everything, I would also like to mention the minuses that we came up with, or that occur to me when using the separation toilet. If you have a really big flow when you pee, the separating (gray) seat has a tendency to fill up quickly that I was worried about something overflowing the first few times I used it. But that would not be a problem in principle. The container is designed in such a way that in this case the excess would overflow into the container with clay. However, this has never happened to us, it was just my initial surprise. 🙈 The second disadvantage that comes to mind: If you are traveling with smaller children, it may be more difficult to explain to them that they cannot sit completely on the toilet as they wish. 😅 As I already mentioned, the TROBOLO toilet was a clear choice for us, which fulfilled all our expectations. For more or less a year, we thought about how to make such a toilet ourselves, and we already had finished prototypes of the separation seat models, which we were going to print on a 3D printer. But then we discovered that someone had already invented and was selling exactly what we wanted. 😂 But it is clear that what suits us may not suit everyone!
