some firsts in my first year

hi! there were so many more firsts i experienced this year that i didn't vlog, and i feel very regretful of that. i always pledge to be more consistent with video editing/vlogging to no avail, but i think this time, i mean it for real. there's a different, inchoate sense of sentiment hitting me when i watch back these montreal videos in rhill - it's hard to describe, but it's motivating - but above all else, it makes me more excited for the next years of undergrad. in terms of editing, this is my first video without any captions and i miss them already. i discovered github's autosub and mralextech's vibe coded plugins but neither of them unfortunately worked, but i'll be looking into them further once i update davinci. i'm also happy with the way the video cuts sync up to the background music's beats, and am especially proud of the way i blended the audio from the downloaded version of no broke boys to the actual festival's playing. i'd like to say i'm getting better at video editing, but i could definitely be more efficient. regardless, enjoy! - - - TIMECODES: 00:00 intro 00:32 frosh 07:24 first weekend out 07:57 first night walk 08:42 first solo plane ride 09:33 first final 11:43 first birthday party 13:55 first sci games 19:10 first igloo fest 20:03 first online exam 20:22 first sus gala 22:33 first stemi formal 23:23 first last day of uni (winter exam season) 23:51 final messages
