Round two on the Upper Red Deer River in Alberta, Canada. We were running skinny channels, gravel bars, and sweepers on our second trip down this stretch of river. This run had a bit of everything — a few stucks, one stupid skinny side channel full of hangers, and plenty of those commit-or-don’t-gamble moments the Upper Red Deer is known for. Both boats on this trip were XtremeDuty XD1775 war wagons with 200 SportJets, picking lines through shallow water and seeing what the river was willing to give us that day. Not every run is clean.
