I Babysat the World’s Most Famous Baby Hippo

Today I took on one of the craziest jobs ever… babysitting Jellybean, a 6-week-old pygmy hippo at the Wildlife World Zoo in Arizona. This baby hippo experience was nothing like I expected — from water aerobics to nonstop chaos, this pygmy hippo kept me on my toes the entire time 😳 From feeding a baby hippo to enrichment, playtime, and trying to survive nap time… I had to complete a full checklist of animal caretaker duties. Pygmy hippos are incredibly rare, with only around 2,500 left in the wild, making wildlife conservation more important than ever. Getting this close to a pygmy hippo baby at a zoo like Wildlife World Zoo was an unforgettable experience.
