Unlock the Healing Power of Exercise During Cancer Treatment

Join us to learn from Clinical Exercise Physiologist, Christopher Fitzmaurice, as we talk about physical activity and exercise as a prevention and treatment strategy for individuals living with chronic disease, especially those battling cancer. Christopher currently works at the Concierge Executive Health Program and is also a group exercise instructor at the University of Miami. He holds certifications through the American College of Sports Medicine as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist and Cancer Exercise Trainer, Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and USA Weightlifting also as a Coach. In addition, he holds certifications through the American Council on Exercise as a Health Coach and Group Exercise Instructor. Prior to his current role, he worked for 5 years in a comprehensive cancer center providing exercise physiology services to cancer patients. Chris is completing his 2nd Masters degree in the Prevention Science and Community Health program within the Public Health Sciences Department at the University of Miami and will begin his 3rd Master's in Leadership in Fall 2025 through Miami Herbert School of Business. He obtained his bachelor of science degree in Exercise Science and master of science degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology both at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte - and aspires to one day earn a doctoral degree.
