The efforts of the Burgenland district and the city of Naumburg to secure long-term financing for the Naumburg tram system have failed for the time being. For several months, the future financing of the Naumburg tram system had been the subject of a working group comprised of representatives from the district administration, the city of Naumburg, and Naumburg Tramway GmbH.
