Riding for Dave Myers: Lancaster to Barrow-in-Furness | Dave Day 2026 POV 🏍️❤️ An absolutely unforgettable day in the saddle. While I rode the entire route all the way from Birmingham, this video captures the final, incredible leg of **Dave Day**—starting from a packed-out Lancaster Services and riding in convoy all the way into Barrow-in-Furness. This is a point-of-view ride captured directly from the front of my bike. I was completely overwhelmed and blown away by the sheer turnout and the staggering reception we received from the locals. Standing on the bridges, lining the pavements, and cheering us on the whole way—the warmth of the crowds was unbelievable. Along the route, all I could find myself saying over and over again was "Amazing, and thank you!" It was a massive honor to join thousands of fellow riders on my blue Yamaha Ténéré 700 Rally to celebrate the life, legacy, and brilliant spirit of the legendary Hairy Biker, Dave Myers. (Please note: There are a few moments early on where I lift up the front of my helmet, so the wind noise gets a bit heavy, but it is only temporary and gets much better towards the end of the video as the convoy slows down entering Barrow!)
