Hendardi urged Febrie's immediate detention for the sake of investigation. Hendardi stated that the President's promise to pursue corruptors as far as Antarctica is now facing a real test. He said there's no need to go all the way to Antarctica; Febrie's mega-corruption case is right before our eyes, yet Febrie has not yet been arrested. "I urge that Febrie Adriansyah be immediately detained for the sake of investigation," he said. Previously, President Prabowo promised to pursue corruptors wherever they flee. Prabowo made this promise in a campaign speech at the National University of the Republic of Indonesia (UKRI) in Bandung on March 8, 2019. At that time, Prabowo asserted that he would pursue corruptors indiscriminately if entrusted with the leadership of Indonesia. The Chairman of the National Council of the SETARA Institute urged Prabowo to fulfill his promise because Febrie has not been questioned despite being named a suspect. Febrie has also not been detained by the Attorney General's Office despite the availability of evidence.
