The Killing Hand - Dream Theater (Full Band Cover) ft. @Moiresinger & @vadrum

RIP Charlie Dominici 6/16/1951 - 11/17/2023 🪦 I first discovered this song from Dream Theater's back catalog in 2017, and I've wanted to do a proper cover of it ever since! Fans from the 90s and 00s will likely know this song was a live staple for DT, since its reworking from the original album version. Although this cover is primarily based upon the When Dream And Day Reunite DVD version (and the re-release via the Lost Not Forgotten archives last year), there are bits and pieces from various versions (the original from WDADU, Long Island '92, and YtseJam Bucharest, Romania '02 bootleg) that were incorporated to put the cherry on top. Definitely couldn't leave out the Carol of The Bells section either. :) I originally wanted this to be my main "pandemic project" in the summer of 2020, and that was when I initially contacted Andrea about doing the drums. Through a few iterations since then, I'm so glad that I can finally put this out into the world! I think the passion we all have for bringing this underrated DT classic definitely shows through in our performances, and I hope you feel that as well. Also, shout out to my fiance whose head you see during the credits, for contributing the meme that had us both laughing during the mixing process. I was making sure the last vocal line, "I am the killing hand!" was balanced, and they heard it enough times to ask when I was done "But is she the killing hand?
