When a project grows—600+ modules and thousands of tests—CI becomes a lengthy process, and developers begin to skip local checks. This talk will explore the Cian team's experience implementing Impact Analysis to selectively run checks, targeting only changed code. We'll cover two areas: static analyzers (detekt) and unit tests. I'll show you how to get a list of changed files, build a dependency graph of Gradle modules, and run checks only where needed. Results: detect speedups of 10-13 times, and unit tests speedups of approximately two times.
