God Gives And He Takes Away? | What???

1. God Never Took From Job — And He Won't Take From You The popular phrase "The Lord gives and the Lord takes away" comes from a man who confessed he was "full of confusion" (Job 10:15). God actually rebuked Job for saying it. The enemy is the thief — not your Father. 2. The Devil Can No Longer Accuse You Before God In Job's time, Satan had legal access to God's presence because Adam surrendered that authority. That access has been permanently revoked. Revelation 12:10 confirms the accuser has been cast down — he can only attack your conscience now, not your standing before God. 3. John 10:10 Is Your Spiritual GPS Jesus drew a clear, unblurred line: stealing, killing, and destroying belong to the thief. Life and abundance belong to Him. Every time something is taken from you, you now know who to assign it to — and it was never God. 4. A Wrong Picture of God Shrinks Your Entire Life If you believe God might snatch back your blessings at any moment, you'll pray small, live small, and expect small. James 1:17 says every good and perfect gift comes from God, with zero variation — He doesn't operate on mood swings. 5. God Is Always the Restorer — Never the Thief Job's story doesn't end in loss. It ends with God restoring double everything that was stolen (Job 42:10). That is the true nature of your Father — not the One who tests you through tragedy, but the One who shows up at the end with both hands full.
