Kenosha Wisconsin:Exploring the Lakefront and Downtown District
Today we explore the Kenosha area, specifically along the lakefront and the downtown district. We will experience the harbor at Simmon's Island during the sunrise hour. Then we'll meander along the lakefront from the south end of town through the downtown district and finally back to Simmons Island for the sunset. Along the way, we will see many points of interest such as The Southport Beachhouse and park, the Allendale neighborhood, the Kemper Center grounds, Library Park, the downtown district, and finally back to Simmon's Island to see the old Southport Lighthouse and enjoy the sunset over the city.
