Inspired by pre-90s art scenes and underground culture, she began her creative journey driven by a belief in the connections between body and memory, food and people, music and the heart. She currently engages in songwriting, essay writing, and performance art, drawing from her unique sensibilities and everyday inspirations. In addition to appearing in numerous film and visual projects, she is active as a member of the performance collective Tokyo QQQ and the dance-and-narration duo Aoi Tsuki. On Instagram, she shares her “Vegetable Dance” series—performed when she encounters beautiful produce—and “Obento no Oto,” a daily showcase of making packed lunches for her husband. It is a sister restaurant to Bistro Rojiura, which has been listed in the Michelin Guide’s Bib Gourmand for six consecutive years, and PATH, which has been selected as a Michelin Guide restaurant. LIKE has organized live performances by international artists such as Nick Hakim, Connan Mockasin, Tex Click, and Ethan P. Flynn, as well as domestic artists like Juria Shortreed, Riki Hidaka, Sho Okamoto (OKAMOTO’S), and AAAMYYY.
