Take a Full Breath

Taking a good full breath is something we rarely do - lots of people breathe too shallow with all the air in the upper lungs this is usually accompanied by the shoulders hanging around the ears and causing tension. On the other hand, abdominal breathing is relaxing with the breath mostly filling the lower cavity of the lungs and very rarely reaching full lung capacity - by taking this long, full breath the lungs are fully inflated and the breath out brings a lovely feeling of relaxation especially if accompanied by a little sigh! This is a great exercise for relaxation and can also help with lowering blood pressure and also relieve Asthma symptoms.
